GI Jane has left the building
At 5 months old reagan started to Army crawl around the room as Ian did not as Ian did I thought she would be crawling for reels at 6 months. On Feb 2nd, her 6 th month mark, she was still sliding that belly across the floor. Then by March 2nd I thought maybe now....but na-uh...not yet. Finally, about 2 days ago I got down on my hands and knees and decided that maybe she needed a demo of that crawling should actually look like. Well I was correct. She immediately saw what I was doing and began to copy it. However when her dad got home she was back to old habits. Anyway....I have been working with her and yesterday, it clicked. It is so fun to see her crusing around on all fours.

If you read the blog a few months back you can tell thatReagan is an eager eater. Last night I decided that I was in the mood for some spaghetti so I put it all together made rolls, salad and set everything on the table, including Reagan who always sits on the table in her Bumbo where I feed her some baby food. After we all took our seats, I remembered that I forgot the napkins and I I turned to grab them from the drawer, Reagan plunged her hand into my plate of spaghetti grabbed some noodles and sauce with her little fist and with sloth like movements, scooped what she grabbed into her mouth. Verdict on the speghetti, she is a fan, however, she is going to have to wait to get her hands on more of that...like 2 months.

Say it like you Mean it
Tyler and I came home from his parents Sunday night and on the way in carried a heated discussion through the door. After about 5 minutes of us carrying on, Ian yells over us and says...."Daddy, say sorry to mommy" That request stopped us in our tracks as we stood for a moment in awe at the sweet guesture that Ian made to stop our argument. Tyler looks over at me and says sorry. Then after Tyler says sorry, Ian then demands that I say sorry to Tyler. "Mommy, now say sorry to Daddy." It was to cute, I have no idea what we were argiing about and obviosly it was not important but what was important was Ian helping us realize that we need to treat each other with more respect....and not just infront of the kids.
