Adorable for Memorial

Today at church we learned am amazing lesson about the
Anti Nephi-Lehites and it was perfect timing
for memorial day tomorrow about how these newly converted souls
laid down their lives and then their sword for their beliefs.
Tomorow we remember the troops who sacrificed their lives
for our freedoms.  As the Government encroaches more and more
on our liberties with new laws and red tape, we honor those
who fight to keep the few liberties we have intact.

Reagan Cleans Up

While I was folding clothes I decide to change Reagan's diaper.  As usual she runs away...since I am almost done I continue to fold when Reagn comes back takes my shirt from a pile and takes it away to....mop up the fresh pee puddle she just made near the bathroom.

Ian's Baptsim Talk Sunday 5.13.12

When he gave the talk he was kinda yelling into the microphone.
I was getting cross but was trying to hold it together.
WE talped the talk and it was a disaster.
It was sweet to think that Ian was there at his baptism and that
and later telling people about it..
Baptism
When my mom and dad were first married, my dad was not a member of the church. He loved that my mom had good values and that she went to church but  he swore that he would never join my mom's church.  He said that  if he did join a church he would be a Lutheran.  After 2 years my mom and dad decided to have a baby and when I was in my mom's tummy, my dad started to go to church with my mom to learn about the Bible.   Every week he began to feel the Holy Spirit stronger and stronger.  One day he told my mom he wanted to join our church.  He began to meet with the missionaries and learn more about the basics of the church.
Then after a few weeks he decided to get baptized.  The baptism was scheduled 2 weeks after I was going to be born.
I would like to think that because of me & the Holy Spirit...my dad was baptized so that he could have a better life for himself and for our family.
When I am eight, I know I will do what my dad mom & Jesus did and get baptized.  I love my dad and am grateful that I have a loving family who will teach me the gospel just as the missionaries did so that when I am baptized,  I can feel the holy spirit to help me to know what is right.

My mom told me I better choose the right until that day comes or I will be sorry.  So far she has been right.
I say these things in Jesus name amen.
Here was the talk
